HISP Rwanda proudly participated in the DHIS2 Annual Conference 2026, held in Oslo, Norway, joining members of the global DHIS2 community for four days of learning, collaboration, and innovation.
The annual conference brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including government representatives, implementers, software developers, donors, technical partners, researchers, and DHIS2 experts from around the world. The event provided a unique platform to exchange experiences, showcase innovations, and discuss strategies for strengthening digital health systems and promoting data-driven decision-making.

As part of the conference program, Maurice Jules Mulisa from HISP Rwanda delivered a Lightning Talk session focused on the use of DHIS2 to support workforce management, malaria programs, and microplanning initiatives. The presentation highlighted practical implementation experiences, lessons learned, and innovative approaches that are helping improve the collection, analysis, and use of data for informed decision-making.
HISP Rwanda’s participation reflects its continued commitment to advancing digital transformation and strengthening information systems that support better health outcomes and sustainable development. By engaging with the global DHIS2 community, HISP Rwanda continues to contribute to knowledge sharing, innovation, and the development of effective digital solutions that address real-world challenges.
The conference also provided valuable opportunities to connect with partners, learn from successful implementations across different countries, and explore emerging technologies that can further enhance the use of data in health and development programs.
