HISP Rwanda Provides Technical Support for the EPI Form Review Workshop in Congo-Brazzaville

HISP Rwanda is proud to provide technical assistance for the ongoing workshop aimed at updating the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) data collection form in Congo-Brazzaville.

The workshop officially kicked off on Monday, March 24, 2025, in the conference hall of the Departmental Directorate of Health and Sanitary Services (DDSSS) in Kinkala, located in the Pool region. This important event is being held with the technical support of HISP Rwanda, in collaboration with HISP West and Central Africa. Its primary goal is to harmonize tools within the DHIS2 platform to enhance the quality of immunization data at all levels of the health system.

The workshop brings together key stakeholders, including Dr. Jonas Ebina, Director of the National EPI Program, and Mr. Antoine Itoua Atipo, Director of Health Information, Evaluation, and Research (DISER). The opening ceremony was presided over by Dr. Albert Touadi, Director of the Department within the Ministry of Health and Population of Congo-Brazzaville.

Through this collaboration, HISP Rwanda reaffirms its commitment to supporting partner countries in strengthening routine immunization programs and promoting data-driven decision-making using open-source digital health solutions such as DHIS2. END
